Of flu,cave art and growing up

I have the flu.Not the swine or bird variety but the ‘normal’ plain-jane one that kept our forefathers from going Dinosaur hunting.By the way,that’s when they started scrawling on the cave walls and art originated.True story.

Stupid flu really takes it out of you.All I feel like doing is staying in bed.Reminds me of falling ill when I was little,it was so much more fun.I’d stay home from school and have the comuter all to myself.Then at the end of the day I would pray that whatever it is doesn’t subside the next day.Growing up really takes the fun out of stuff.

Stay hungry.Stay foolish.

Skipping dinner was a really bad idea.Worse still is ignoring the growling belly for an unsuccessful and insanely stretched out jab at creative writing.
Is this what Steve Jobs meant?’cuz I’m feeling really hungry and rather foolish too.And how long do I have to keep at this before success,fame and fortune are supposed to follow?Hmm,I’m willing to give it time till I’m done with this post and then the 5mins approx that I’ll take to fix a snack.

On a totally different note,I saw Brazil losing out to Netherlands in the quarter-finals.Not sure how I feel about that.
